Picture the scene: it’s financial Armageddon at BBC HQ, and they’re slashing and burning left right and centre. First up for execution? BBC 6 Music.

Fast forward a few months, and suddenly 6 Music is the darling of the BBC. No one dares touch a hair on its head.

Now I’m no Columbo, but could it be anything to do with our very own Jamie Roberts? Listen closely yesterday afternoon. and you’d have heard him laying down some searing banter with 6 Music’s Nemone, having been nominated for ‘Video of the Week’ for his frankly awesome/surreal treatment of Belleruche’s new single, ‘Clockwatching’.

Nemone calls it ‘Bergerac meets Twin Peaks’. Job done.
